George Higgins is the author of a book of poems, There, There, (White Violet Press). His work has appeared or will in Best American Poetry, Pleiades, Nimrod, Prairie Schooner, and other journals. He earned an MFA in poetry at Warren Wilson College, where he was a Holden fellow. Currently, he’s at work on a Young Adult verse novel, and has an office at the Writers Grotto in San Francisco.
