Bora Reed is a writer from Berkeley, CA working on a novel loosely based on her father’s experience of fleeing North Korea as a war refugee in 1951. She holds an MFA in creative writing from Warren Wilson College, an MA in Theology from the Graduate Theological Union, and a BA in English from UC Berkeley. She has been awarded residencies at Ucross, Ragdale, and Hedgebrook. She is also the Director of Communications for UC Berkeley’s Goldman School of Public Policy.
