Julia Flynn Siler, bestselling author of The White Devil's Daughters: The Women Who Fought Slavery in San Francisco's Chinatown, created this walking tour of historical Chinatown with sites and stories from the book, a "story of both the abolitionists who challenged the corrosive anti-Chinese prejudices of the time, and the young women who dared to flee their fate." Admission includes 90-minute tour, one-hour author discussion with Q&A, followed by tea/wine reception. Book sales by Eastwind Books. $50
