As a shy kid from the suburbs of San Francisco, Alvin Orloff stumbled into the wild, eclectic crowd of Crazy Club Kids, Punk Rock Nutters, Fashion Victims, Disco Dollies, and Dizzy Twinks of post-Stonewall queer culture, only to watch so many succumb to the wrath of AIDS. Orloff presents his new memoir Disasterama! Adventures in the Queer Underground 1977–1997, a deliriously true tale of people who loved life, loved fun, and who made up the insane jigsaw of the community. In conversation with Alia Volz, and featuring the Disasterama! Dancers. FREE, $5 suggested donation
